Message So, I bought a 2009 GT-R a few months back... but that wasn't the mistake. My mistake was taking it to the road course at Palm Beach International Raceway... and now I'm completely addicted!! I have no idea why I wasted so much time drag racing... going around corners is sooooo much more fun!

Anyways, I need help because I can't decide what to do regarding my new sickness... should I...

a) Convert the GT-R to full time track duty

b) Try to dual purpose the GT-R for track and street

c) Convert the Z to a full time track duty and keep the GT-R for street use (since the GT-R has the back seat for the kids)

d) Buy another car for full time track duty

e) Forget about racing because based on the video below I suck. LOL

I feel like I should really have just a dedicated track car so that I can put in a full roll cage/harnesses/etc. so that at the end of the day, I come home to my family in one piece. I would not drive on the street with a roll cage (unless I decide to drive around with a helmet on all the time and get helmets for the kids too...). The Z has been so built up already as a really awesome street car that I would end up removing a ton of stuff I already put into it. The other issue is it doesn't have the same potential that the GT-R does. A street/track car seems like a huge hassle to convert back and forth between events.

For those of you who track your Z's are they dual purpose or track only? The other thing to think about is that my Z is almost 20 years old already and may simply fall apart if I track it... heh.

Here's a vid where I set the PBIR track record for a stock GT-R (simply because, nobody else has reported a track time yet... lol)!
